Business Analyst 


We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in insurance systems and policy administration platforms to support the successful implementation of Novidea. This role requires a strong background in business analysis, system implementations, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure a seamless transition and optimization of the platform. The ideal candidate will have experience working in fast-paced environments and engaging cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to the Novidea implementation.
  • Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and workflow improvements to align the system with operational needs.
  • Support end-to-end system implementation, including testing, troubleshooting, and user training.
  • Collaborate with IT, underwriting, claims, and finance teams to facilitate seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Assist in data migration, reporting, and system configuration to enhance Novidea’s functionality.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and recommend best practices and process enhancements to improve efficiency and user adoption.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of business analysis experience in the insurance industry, particularly with policy administration, claims, or underwriting systems.
  • Prior experience with Novidea or similar platforms (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek, OneShield) in an implementation, configuration, or optimization capacity.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, data mapping, and reporting tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Excel.
  • Hands-on experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documentation, and training initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ability to work in a structured project management environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with brokers, MGAs, or carriers in a technology transformation or system migration project.
  • Knowledge of insurance compliance, workflows, and operational best practices.
  • Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP), Agile (CSPO), or Project Management (PMP) is a plus.

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
